Because I have done a lot of Powerpoint work in my previous career as a manager for Kinko's/FedEx Kinko's, I chose to do a website for my Menu Project. I wanted to attempt something which would stretch my limits and make me learn new things.
I explored HTML, gadgets, widgets, borders, graphics, and much more. In designing the site I wanted to keep it simple. There is nothing I dislike more than a website that is tough to read. I hope I have kept this one easy to read and easy to navigate.
I also investigated Metatags and Keywords. I have included these with each page as well as a description tag to allow for search engine optimization.
The video clip below was done with my laptop's webcam. I used Picassa 3, a free downloadable software from Google. Using Picasa 3 I created the opening credits as well as the closing credits. I edited this into a movie and uploaded it to YouTube. Using a YouTube widget, I was able to post the movie here for viewers to see.
